Sandra Hollingsworth

Sandra is a Ward 1 Councillor in Sault Ste Marie and a registered nurse was appointed to represent the organization on the Association of Municipalities of Ontario health task force and as FONOM’s representative on Northern Ontario School of Medicine’s nominations and community relations subcommittee.

In addition to having a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN), Hollingsworth also has a Bachelor of Economics degree. Her curriculum vitae includes time as charity manager at the College of Family Physicians of Canada, as well as service at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Annapolis (Maryland) Tourism Bureau, and her family’s business, Soo Mill and Lumber.

Hollingsworth was first elected to Sault Ste. Marie City Council during a byelection on Feb. 2, 2016, in which she was the top vote-magnet in a busy field.
